Motiff supports transferring projects and files from members who are removed or have left the team voluntarily to a designated member. Team owners and admins have permission to perform this action.
Click on the team name in the sidebar to enter the team space.
In the top right corner of the team page, click and select Transfer assets.
In the Transfer assets popup, view all asset under the original member's name.
Click Transfer.
In the Transfer popup, enter the name and email to search for the member you want to assign.
Click Confirm, and all assets under the original member's name will be transferred to the designated member.
Note: Motiff does not support asset handover for members who are still in the team. You have the option to remove the member and then perform the handover process. Alternatively, the member can proactively transfer ownership of the projects and files. Learn more about Transferring files and projects.
Tip: In the Professional plan, you can designate any team member as the transferee. In the Organization plan, this includes all members of the organization as well as guests.
