If your team is on a Professional plan, you can cancel your Professional plan subscription and downgrade your team to the Starter plan. You can cancel at any time, but the cancellation will only take effect after the current billing cycle has ended.
Downgrading from a Professional plan to a Starter plan will result in the following changes for your team:
- File limit: Your team can only have three files with a maximum of three pages per design file on a Starter plan. If the number of files and pages in your team exceeds the limits, you can still view and edit existing files, but you'll be unable to create new ones.
- Project limit: Your team can only have one project on a Starter plan. If your team has more than one project when you downgrade, you can still view and edit files in the existing projects, but you’ll be unable to create new projects.
- Version history: On a Starter plan, your team can view a file’s version history for up to 30 days only.
If you want to continue downgrading your team to a Starter plan, we recommend you to do the following before cancelling your Professional plan subscription:
- Move up to three Motiff design files into one project.
- Remove extra pages in a design file to make sure each file has a maximum of three pages.
- Remove extra projects to make sure your team has a maximum of one project.
- Move files to another team or to your drafts.
- Download copies of your account invoices.
Note: To delete your team, you need to cancel your Professional plan subscription first.
