When you create a file or project, Motiff will set you as the owner. You can transfer ownership of files or projects under your name.
Tips:
- Only the current owner can transfer ownership of files or projects.
- The owner can only transfer ownership to members who are already in the file or project. If the person you want to transfer to is not yet a member, you need to invite them to join the file or project first.
Transfer file ownership
- 1.Open the popup for sharing files:
- Workspace: Right-click the file in the list and select Share.
- Editor: Click Share on the right side of the toolbar.
- 2.Click the existing permissions of the member to whom you want to transfer the file and select Owner.
- 3.Motiff will ask for confirmation of this action, click Transfer owner in the popup to proceed.
