Motiff is shutting down — what you need to know
As part of a business restructuring, Motiff will shut down on June 23, 2026. This article covers the key dates, how to export your data, and refund details for paid subscribers.
Key dates

| June 23, 2026 | Motiff service goes offline. You will no longer be able to access the editor or create new files. |
| October 31, 2026 | Data export closes. All remaining data will be permanently deleted after this date. |
How to export your files
All export features are now free for every user — no subscription required. Available formats include PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, Copy to Figma, HTML Code, React Code, and Project ZIP.
Steps to export:
- 1.Sign in to Motiff at motiff.com.
- 2.Open the project you want to export.
- 3.Click the Export button in the top-right corner.
- 4.Select a format from the dropdown menu.
- 5.Your file will begin downloading automatically.
Repeat for each project you want to keep. Please export all your files before October 31, 2026.
Registrations & renewals
As of April 24, 2026, Motiff is no longer accepting new registrations or subscription renewals. Existing users can continue to sign in and use the service until it goes offline on June 23, 2026.
Refunds for paid subscribers
Refund processing began on April 24, 2026. Depending on your plan type:
Monthly subscribers
If your subscription was active on April 24, your current billing cycle will continue as normal. You will also receive one additional free month of Motiff Pro access (including 1,000 credits) as a thank-you. No refund will be issued for monthly plans.
Annual subscribers
If your subscription was active on April 24, you will receive a prorated refund for the remaining months of your plan, plus one free month of credits.
The refund amount is calculated as:
Annual subscription total ÷ 12 × remaining full months
For example: If you paid $192 on January 1 (expiring December 31), you have 8 full months remaining after April 24 — your refund would be $128.
Refunds are processed automatically and returned to your original payment method. No action is required on your part. Please allow 3–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Free users
No refund applies. Please make sure to export your files before October 31, 2026.
Invoices
The invoice portal has been taken offline. If you need a copy of a past invoice or have billing-related questions, please send an email to service@motiff.com from the email address associated with your Motiff subscription. Our team will assist you as soon as possible.
