In Motiff, the location where a file copy is created depends on the location of the file and users’ access permissions for the project to which the file belongs:
- If you have Can edit or higher access permissions for the project, the copy will be created within the project.
- If you have Can view permissions or no permissions for the project, the copy will be created in Drafts.
The created file copy will not include the access permissions, comments, version history, or library connections of the original file.
