You can group files in the created projects and assign access permissions for each project individually.
Create projects
If you have Can edit or higher access permissions for the team, you can create projects within the team. There are two ways to create a project:
- Hover the cursor over the team name in the sidebar. An will appear to the right of the team name. Click it to create a project.
- Enter the team and click + Project.
Assign project permissions
You can assign access permissions for all team members in the project or invite additional members individually.
-
Assign access permissions for all team members:
- Inherited permissions: Allows all team members to have the same permissions at the project level as they do at the team level. This is the project's default setting for team members.
- Can edit: All team members can edit the project.
- Can view: All team members can view the project.
- Remove: No team member can access the project. This is suitable for projects that require small-scale collaboration or are confidential. For example: A few team members who build and maintain the team's design system.
-
Invite members individually to collaborate on the project:
- Enter the name or email in the popup to find users.
- Click to select permission for the member.
- Click Send invite and the user will join the project.
- Members who have joined the project can be viewed in the member list below.
Note: You can invite additional team members to the project. After the invitation, the actual access permission of the member will be the permission you assigned at the time of invitation and will no longer be affected by the project's permission assignment for the team.
