Create new files

You can collaborate on designs within Motiff files and maintain a design system based on the files.

Create files in Drafts

Anyone can create files in Drafts, where you can brainstorm design ideas and explore different features. It is private by default. Only people who are invited can access the files within.

Click Drafts in the workspace sidebar, then click New File to create a draft.

Note: Files cannot be grouped in drafts. You can create a project under a team and group files if you need this feature.

Create files in teams

If you have Can edit permissions for a team or a project within a team, you can create files within the team, making it easy for other team members to find and view them.

To create a file in a team, you need to select a project under the team, then click New File. 'create files in teams.png'

Note: You can use custom covers to make it easier for team members to identify certain files.
