Select a folder for your browser’s downloads

When you download content in Motiff, it is typically saved to your Downloads folder or other default location. You can change your browser's default download location.

Google Chrome

  1. 1.Open Chrome and click kebab menu icon in the top-right corner, then select Settings. 'Google Chrome-01.png'
  2. 2.Click Downloads to view Chrome's default location for downloads. 'Google Chrome-02.png'
  3. 3.Click Change to select a new location for saving files.
  4. 4.To choose a specific location for each download, enable the option of Ask where to save each file before downloading.

Safari

  1. 1.Open Safari and click Safari in the toolbar at the top of the screen, then select Settings. 'Safari-01.png'
  2. 2.Click General and find the option of File download location to view Safari's default location for downloads.
  3. 3.Click the dropdown menu next to File download location, and then select Other to choose a new location for saving files.
  4. 4.To choose a specific location for each download, select Ask for each download in the dropdown menu. 'Safari-02.png'

Microsoft Edge

  1. 1.Open Microsoft Edge and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then select Settings. 'Microsoft Edge-01.png'
  2. 2.Click Change to select a new location for saving files.
  3. 3.To choose a specific location for each download, enable the option of Ask me what to do with each download. 'Microsoft Edge-02.png'

Firefox

  1. 1.Open Firefox and click hamburger menu icon in the top-right corner, then select Settings. 'Firefox-01.png'
  2. 2.Scroll down to the Files and Applications section. In the Downloads module, you can view Firefox's default location for downloads.
  3. 3.Click Choose… to select a new location for saving files. 'Firefox-02.png'
  4. 4.To choose a specific location for each download, enable the option of Always ask you where to save files.
