Add fonts in Motiff

Text is an important component of interface design. Choosing the right font can enhance the readability and aesthetic appeal of the design.

Use fonts

You can browse and use fonts in the font picker:

  1. 1.In the Text modal of the design panel, click the font name to open the font picker.

  1. 2.In the font picker, select the font you want to replace.

You can search for fonts by name, or browse the font list by category to find the font you need.

  • The All font list shows all available fonts. Your three most recently used fonts will be displayed at the top of the list for easy reuse.
  • The Team font list shows the shared fonts uploaded by your team.
  • The Cloud font list shows fonts provided by Motiff.
  • The Local font list shows fonts you have installed locally on your computer.

Note: If you want to use local fonts on your device, you need to add and install fonts on your device:

Tip: Motiff will apply the properties of the most recently selected text layer when you create a new one.

Install Motiff Font Agent

If you are using the Motiff web app, you need to manually install the Motiff Font Agent. This is a secure background service that allows Motiff to access all the fonts on your device.

Note: Motiff Font Agent has the same browser requirements as the Motiff web app. Learn more about What browsers does Motiff support?

    Download and install Motiff Font Agent from Motiff's download page.

    a. Select a text layer and open the font picker. b. Switch to Local and click Download Motiff Font Agent.

  1. 2.Reload all Motiff tabs to use the local fonts on your device.
