How many people can edit the file at the same time?

Motiff is a professional collaborative design tool. In cross-team collaboration scenarios such as design reviews and workshops, you can use the collaboration features.

A single file supports up to 200 users with Can edit permission to collaborate simultaneously. However, when the limit is exceeded, Motiff will impose some collaboration restrictions.

Can edit and Can view permissions

Users with Can view permission can only view or comment on files. Users with this permission can access files and pages, select layers, use the annotation panel to view layer properties, follow other collaborators, add comments, etc.

Users with Can edit permission can edit or modify files. Users with this permission can view and change any layer's properties and position in the file.

File user limits

To ensure the stability of team members collaborating in the same file, when the number of users with Can edit permission exceeds 200 people in a file, any subsequent users joining the file will only have Can view permission.

  • If you enter the file after reaching this limit, Motiff will prompt a popup, click OK to close the popup.
  • If you have Can edit permission for the file, this restriction is temporary. Once other users with Can edit permission leave the file, the system will automatically switch you to Can edit permission. 'File user limits.png'

Note: The Motiff team is continuously increasing the active user limit within files. If you reach these limits, you can contact the Motiff team at any time to provide feedback. You can click https://motiff.fbcontent.cn/public/resource/cms/image/21e7akbxt.svg and select Send feedback.
