You can edit the content of a published comment. Editing comments is very convenient when you want to find typos, add clarification, or mention other collaborators.
You can add comments to a specific layer or coordinates on the canvas. This allows you to draw everyone's attention to a specific place on the canvas or a layer through comments.
You can move comments to change their fixed position.
If you have pinned a comment to a specific layer, you can move both the layer and its comment at the same time. The method of moving the layer and the layer's final position will affect the position of the comment.
If you cut a layer and paste it to a new position, Motiff will disconnect the comment from that layer. However, you can still view and reply to the comment from the right sidebar.
If the comment is not pinned to any layer, you can still find it at its original coordinates in the canvas.
If you cut and paste a layer across files, Motiff will not move the comment. Comments will remain in the original file.
Motiff will not copy the comments to the new file if you duplicate the file. In this case, comments will only remain in the original file.
