After you and your team members add comments to a file, the comments will be displayed at the corresponding location on the canvas. You can use Motiff web and desktop app to view and reply to comments directly on the canvas. After entering comment mode, you can view and manage comments in the right sidebar.
Comments in the file are pinned to the point or region of the canvas selected by the commenter.
Comments will be represented in a pin style. You can hover the pin to preview the comment and click on the pin to open the comment details, where you can add a reply.

You can also enter comment mode by clicking the toolbar or pressing C to view and manage comments in the file.
After entering comment mode, you can view, search, sort, and filter comments. You can also click on a comment in the right sidebar to open its details directly on the canvas.
When viewing comments in the right sidebar, each comment will display the page information it is on. When you click on a comment to open it, you will be navigated to the specific location of the comment on that page.
When you are in comment mode, you cannot make any changes to the layers on the canvas. You can press Esc or select another tool to continue editing the file.
When you need to modify the design content based on comment feedback, you can dock the comment details to the top left corner of the canvas.

By default, comments will be displayed on the canvas whether or not you are in comment mode. If you wish to hide comments on the canvas and only see them when in comment mode, you can use the shortcut Shift + C to hide comments.
When you enter comment mode, all comments in the file will be displayed in the right sidebar. Clicking the top of the right sidebar allows you to sort and filter comments.
Comments in the right sidebar can be sorted in the following ways:
You can also view comments in email notifications. Clicking the link in the email will open the file and navigate to the page and location of the corresponding comment.
All collaborators in the file can add, view, and reply to comments.
Once a comment has been addressed, you can mark it as Resolved.
This will hide the comment in the right sidebar and on the canvas.
If you mistakenly mark a comment as resolved, you can undo this action by unchecking the in the comment details. Click the right sidebar in comment mode, then filter out the resolved comments.
You can also delete comments or replies you have posted. If there are replies under the comment you delete, the replies will also be deleted at the same time.
Deleting a comment is a permanent action. Even if you restore a historical version of the file, you cannot recover deleted comments.
You can also choose to delete the comment and all replies.
