Lock and unlock layer

Locking a layer prevents the layer from being accidentally moved or edited. Once a layer is locked, it cannot be edited or moved in the canvas area, but you can select it within the layer list and modify its properties.

If the parent layer is locked, all child layers within the parent layer are also locked. The child layers cannot be unlocked unless the parent layer is unlocked.

Lock or unlock layers in the canvas

  1. 1.Right-click on the layer in the canvas area.
