Hide or show layer

You can adjust the visibility of layers within the canvas by hiding and showing layers. Layers that are hidden can still be moved or have their properties adjusted.

Hide or show layers in the layer list

  1. 1.Hover your cursor over a layer in the layer list.
  2. 2.Click '16_Common_Eyes.svg' to hide the layer and then the icon will change to '16_Common_EyesClose.svg' .
  3. 3.The layer will become invisible on the canvas while being displayed in gray in the layer list.
  4. 4.Click '16_Common_EyesClose.svg' again to restore the layer's visibility.

Use shortcuts to hide or show layers

You can select a layer in the canvas area or the layer list and use shortcuts to hide or show the layer:

  • macOS: ⇧ Shift + ⌘ Command + H
  • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + H

Note: A hidden layer cannot be selected within the canvas, even under the select layer feature. You can select a hidden layer in the layer list.
